School... It's the one thing Rami truly hates. Why? Because it's difficult for him and some of the boys are mean. Things get even worse when he is paired up with Lukas, the meanest boy in his class, to prepare and present a research project. On the bright side, he is assigned to research chocolate, something which sparks his interest! Who doesn't love chocolate!? Surprisingly, through his research on Swiss chocolate, Ramis learns that chocolate and people have a lot in common. Will his newfound knowledge be enough to teach a valuable lesson to the meanest kid in class ?

Great series - Intro to Paris

Looking for a way to introduce your students to Paris via a story? Like cute little rodents? Novice students need lots of input and repetition and a glossary to help them out? Look no further. There's definitely a bit of repetitiveness in these books but the storyline and curiosity about what happens to Rhumus keeps you reading. The author is very capable and has come up with yet another creative storyline that gets students reading. I particularly liked the 2nd book which had me hooked in wanting to know how the building frustration of the rats would resolve. You won't want to miss adding these titles to your classroom library!

Interesting and at my level (A1-A2)

This book was a pleasure to read. I understood most of it, but there were still some words I had to look up. The glossary in the back was very convenient. The story was interesting as well, and I found myself looking forward to seeing what was going to happen. Thanks.

    La lettre

This was a great novel for my 8th grade French students. It’s compelling and relatable. They love reading that other kids go through similar challenges during adolescence. Highly recommend.
