This audiobook is perfect as a supplement to the reader "L'île au trésor: Première partie: La malédiction de l'île Oak" in helping learners develop an ear for the language. It gives the teacher a break, provides a different but authentic voice in French. This is a great last-minute listening comprehension activity or it can be used for a sub plan!

This was a very good comprehensible book for French students. I enjoyed the way the narrative unfolded with different perspectives and an intriguing plot as well as narrative style. There was intrigue (I was highly motivated to keep reading because I wanted to know what happened!) Great glossary in the back makes the book so much more accessible for those learning the language too. I highly recommend both this book and this author.
